100 years ago the population of the world was decimated by the outbreak of the most horrific plague mankind has known. Victims of the plague suffered a long, drawn out, painful death. More unsettling is what happened next: they came back.

The remains of civilization has since regrouped and now live in a world of the walking undead inside large walled-off city-fortresses. This is the story of one such fortress and those sworn to protect it.
